But it got lost in the mail
I wrote you an E-Mail
But to no avail
I wrote you a poem
But somehow it was wrong
I wrote you another
But called it a song
I gave you my love
But you didn't care
And when I needed you
Most, you weren't there
I tried not to hurt you
Though you made it hard
Instead on your Birthday
I got you a card
I cry when I think of you
But I get through the day
I gave you my heart
But you threw it away

I wrote this some time ago, about a friend. Things are a bit better now. We never talk or anything, but I'm definitely better at accepting things the way they are with our relationship. Still working on it.
